Here is the quick and easy recipe for almond chutney.
- A handful of almonds (soaked in warm water for 15 min. and peeled) or sliced almonds
 - 3 green chillies
 - A pinch of asafoetida
 - Salt (for taste)
 
- For tadka/ tempering
 - 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds,
 - 1/4 tsp urad dal,
 - 1tsp oil
 - curry leaves
 
- Grind the peeled almonds with chili and salt in a blender.
 - Temper with the seasonings.
 - Serve with idli, dosa, or upma.
